Today we sold our "Major Load" buck to the Kearns Family of Paris Kentucky. We would like to thank the Kearns Family and wish them well with Major in 2010.

For the first time, Advanced Boer Genetics will be offering a limited number of 4-H Market Whethers for sale. These whethers will be sired by our Five State Grand Champion Buck, Hold On Tight. So far, all of Hold on Tights sons have taken 1st place on the ABGA show circuit. These whethers will not last long, and are priced at $300 each. Serious parties should contact us for details.

The first Hold on Tight-Raizn' the Stakes Flush kids were born on 12/8/09. Two ten pound doe kids (Twilight & Hot Tottie) and one fourteen pound buck kid (Sin Bad). We are still expecting two more kids from this match-up in the near future. Stay tuned For many more Hold On Tight offspring yet to come.

Partly Sunny wins Division Grand Champion at the West Virginia Boer Goat Blitz. Apollo wins first place 3-6 month old buck class at the West Virginia Boer Goat Bltz.

Apollo wins Overall Reserve Grand Champion at five and a half months old at the 2009 Chaimpagn County Harvest Classic. Partly Sunny wins Junior Reserve Champion at the 2009 Champaign Couontry Harvest Classic.

We sold one of Hold on Tights sons today (Zeus) to Miss Makenzie Bishop of Bishops Willow Run Boer Goats in Honey Grove, PA. Keep an eye out for this little guy at the shows and be sure to say hello to Dennis, Michelle and Makenzie as they are very fine people.

Today at the Ohio Reproductive Center, we successfully transferred embryos from our doe Razn the Stakes into sergeant mothers. All we can do now is cross our fingers. Take a look at this buck and doe combination on our show page and you will see why we are so anxious to see the results.

We spent the day at the Ohio Reproductive Center today with our multiple grand champion buck “Hold on Tight” who is live flush covering Razn the Stakes along with a few other does for a scheduled flush date of 7/16/09. Go – Hold on tight – Go.
